- A dedicated Client Access Team to handle new client inquiries, utilizing a proprietary system to schedule according to each therapist’s input and expertise

- Evaluate mental health diagnoses, then create and implement a treatment plan
- Complete ongoing documentation (including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes) in a timely manner
- Provide excellent care, utilizing creativity to help clients achieve and exceed their goals
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to fill gaps in mental healthcare
- Coordinate, and consult with outside providers (such as PCP, Psychiatrist, et al.) as needed
- Attend and participate in weekly clinical staff meetings and trainings

- Master’s Degree or higher in behavioral sciences or a related field
- License to practice therapy in the state of Michigan (LMSW/LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LP, et. al.) - unfortunately we are not able to provide supervision to limited license applicants at this time
- Passion for working with couples and families
- Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical notes
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Excellent time management skills with a proven record of meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of HIPAA standards
- Effective communication skills
- Comfort working with a diverse group of clients & colleagues
- Adaptability, creativity, and flexibility
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams (preferred)
- Post-grad training in an EBP (such as Gottman Method, CBT, EFT etc.), a plus
- A great sense of humor won’t hurt—we love to laugh!
- This position reports directly our Clinical Director, an LCSW
- We are a growth-minded practice: fully licensed therapists will have monthly 1:1 supervision with the Clinical Director (where professional development will be a priority)

Company Structure
Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time!
